Your Worship and Warfare Move God’s Heart!

This title of this email gripped me to ponder the very words… Our worship and our warfare will move God’s heart… How can we move God’s heart when we are in worship and we’re doing warfare….In reading a transcript this week on this I am convinced that the enemy is working against every believer to destroy their walk with the Lord, he is the master deceiver and he brings delusions of every kind to the body of Christ. Take time to seek the very heart of God today and see where the Lord would have you minister…

Some questions to ponder…

Are we in fellowship with other believers?

Are we spending time in having intimacy with the Lord?

Are we being restored or helping to see others be restored to Him?

Are we praying for revival, deliverance and healings in lives that are broken?

Are we walking together in unity with a common purpose and goal?

Are we returning to God’s ways and become the soldiers and lovers He has called us too?

Isaiah 59:19 “So they shall fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight.

John 4:23-24 “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”

Yearn for His courts~

Petitions, Power, Praise No Comments »

As believers in Jesus Christ we can trust the Lord and turn to him in hard times. God cares for us and he is Sovereign in all. No matter what hard times we are facing its so much better to place our trust in Him. Do you yearn for the courts of the Lord? Do you cry out for His mercy for all? Do you praise Him in the midst of the storm? Take a moment to get before the Lord today and praise His Holy Name, be established in His ways!!!

Psalm 84:2-4

My soul yearns, even faints,

for the courts of the LORD;

my heart and my flesh cry out

for the living God.

Even the sparrow has found a home,

and the swallow a nest for herself,

where she may have her young—

a place near your altar,

O LORD Almighty, my King and my God.

Blessed are those who dwell in your house;

they are ever praising you.

Isaiah 48:5-9

This is what God the LORD says he who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and all that comes out of it, who gives breath to its people,  and life to those who walk on it: “I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison  and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. “I am the LORD; that is my name!  I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols. See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you.”

Take a moment to read over this passage and see how Gods redemption sets us free from the prison of sin and darkness. The Lord is His name; Jesus is our Counselor and He is our Redeemer. Will you come to Him today and declare His praise? He is waiting for you to make Him Lord and Savior over your life today. Blessings, peace and victory in Jesus Name…

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.

Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.

Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.

For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Blessings,

Joyce

*Salt & Light*

Matt 5: 13-16You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”

The Lord commands us to let or light shine before men so the may see good works and praise our Father in heaven.

Questions to ponder

  • Are we the salt of the earth?
  • Are we the light of the world?

True fresh seasoning will not lose its flavor, but will only be enhanced by the other ingredients such as; love, faith, hope, purity, goodness, and so many more. Light cannot be hidden, but will only reflect that which is seen such as being; lovely, holy, pure, blameless, set apart from the darkness that prevails.

God’s instruction in these verses is to give flavor and shine! Pure and simple

We must love instead of hate, encourage rather than discourage, focus on strengths rather than weaknesses, edify rather than tear down, trust and obey instead of distrust and disobey, have hope rather than lose hope. We should show the better way so that others would hear of the Grace of God.

It Ain’t Over

No gift to bring!

Psalm 95: 6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker

The song titled ‘Drummer Boy’ has lyrics that can be very touching when sung or read. Just this week while watching a video clip with our precious one I began to sense the sweetness of what it really means to have no gift to bring. This is the best gift one can give, birthed out of a heart of love, pure uninhibited worship. He addresses the Creator of the Universe simply with; Little Baby, pa rum pum pum pum”. It seems the drummer boy realizes he is a poor boy too; “I am a poor boy too, pa rum pum pum pum yet in his innocence he admits; “I have no gift to bring, pa rum pum pum pum”. The drummer boy is standing in the presence of a King and so he plays for Him. That’s fit to give the King, pa rum pum pum pum, Shall I play for you, pa rum pum pum pum, On my drum?

It’s the purity of this child’s heart as he plays the drum for Him offering the only gift he has. It is not a gift that one may find on sale rack or for personal edification, but rather it’s a natural response when one finds themselves in the Presence of God. While this is just a story and a precious one at that, it is a reminder of the intimacy we hold with our Savior; if we just come to Him. Psalm 145:18 The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

So in the hustle and bustle of the next few weeks of preparation for family gatherings, celebrations, and festivities take time to offer up pure unadulterated worship.  Take a moment and rest in the sweet Presence of the Lord and share the greatest gift of all, even if you have ‘no gift to bring”.

This Is the Day

The Consequences of Our Salvation

Encouragement, Hope, Peace, Praise, Thanksgiving 1 Comment »

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. (Revelations 21:4)

Think back to the time you first made the decision to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. It may have happened recently or maybe it was so long ago that you have some trouble remembering that time in your life. Whenever it occurred, I’m sure you felt incredible joy and peace, knowing that one day you would spend eternity with Christ. That’s one of the consequences of our salvation.

Salvation does not mean that we will have an easy time here on earth. It also does not mean that God will say yes to every prayer request. However, one day we will live with our heavenly Father for all of eternity.

No matter what things look like today, we know how our stories end. The time will come when we will spend every day singing, praising and worshipping God. Does that mean that you have to wait to get to heaven before you will have joy again? Absolutely not. We have a Father who blesses us every single day with what we need and many times with what we desire.

So, if you find yourself in a hard place right now, know that as a Believer you have a promise. There is a day when, “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Too much stuff~~

Praise No Comments »

Pondering this thought today it reminds me of the stuff in our lives that seems to grow with time. Too much stuff is what I am thinking about this week. Stuff that gets in the way of our daily walk with Christ, stuff that seems to take over our time thus making it time that is wasted. It’s stuff that clogs our thoughts when it is not filtered with the cleansing Word of God daily. This kind of stuff takes away the thoughts that should inhabit praise rather than burden our lives. Are you feeling like the stuff in your life, family or home has become saturated with some of the world? If so, it’s time to de-clutter, get rid of the stuff and put on a garment of praise. Let us bow our knees before God and shout praise, let stomp out the stuff.

Romans 14:11 It is written: ‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.

Psalm 47:1 Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy.

Eph 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

To God be the glory for great things He has done!
